Dr Aydin graduated with First-Class Honours in Psychology from Istanbul University, where his interest in the relationship between brain function and behaviour first developed. He subsequently completed advanced training in clinical psychology, specialising in neuropsychological assessment.
His doctoral research focused on the diagnostic complexities surrounding autism spectrum conditions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and specific learning difficulties. This work established a foundation for his clinical approach: the recognition that accurate diagnosis requires a comprehensive understanding of individual neurological differences.
Following doctoral training, Dr Aydin gained extensive clinical experience across diverse settings, including NHS trusts, private practice, and specialist neurological services.
This breadth of experience informed his understanding of the gaps that existed in specialist neuropsychological provision—gaps that would later motivate the establishment of Cosmos Healthcare.
In 2016, Dr Aydin founded Cosmos Healthcare to address a significant unmet need in specialist neuropsychological services. The practice was established with a clear vision: to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment that integrates the latest advances in neuroscience with rigorous clinical methodology.

Dr Aydin has extensive experience in addiction treatment, combining evidence-based TMS neuromodulation with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). With many years of clinical experience in this field, Dr Aydin has supported hundreds of individuals in their recovery journey.
